Our love for God leads us to love children, because all children are God's children. A person recently said this about our church, "First Baptist is always open to accepting children, even children of other faiths." We are committed to sharing the love of God with children in a safe environment.

We have many ministries that minister to children and their families. In Sunday School, we provide Bible study for children of all ages, preschool through fifth grade. Sixth grade and older included in the Youth Ministry.

Nursery

Our nursery provides child care to children up to two years of age during Sunday School and Worship. We use a beeper communication system with the parents to provide safety for the babies.

Children's Worship

Children are included in worship by the pastor, who provides a children's message. This enables them to know they are part of the worship experience. Afterwards, a children’s worship extension is provided for children up to four years of age.

Vacation Bible School

Our annual Vacation Bible School is a Summer event children always anticipate. The week is filled with fun songs, games, and Bible study. The week serves as an intense week of focused ministry to children.

Preteen Camps

Several children's camps are available for young children and preteens. Girls in Action, Royal Ambassadors, and Preteen camp are some of the camps we attend. Parents interested in enrolling their child in one of these camps should contact the office.
