Dr. Glenn E. Robertson

Glenn has been serving First Baptist Church as pastor since 1993. He has a Ph.D. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (1988). He is married and has one son. Glenn believes the church must communicate to each generation in contemporary language of its culture, yet, without leaving the Bible as its central truth. Glenn uses outlines, dramas, and video illustrations to help people connect to the message of the Bible.

I believe God wants to make a connection to every person. God has made us for himself. We can only find our inner fulfillment in a relationship with him. Jesus has made that relationship possible by overcoming our sin on the cross. If you are looking for something to complete your life, it may be you are actually longing to be connected to the One who made you, God Himself. Instead of seeking the answers to life in other things, why not seek God? Jesus said, If you seek, you will find. Is it time for you to make THE CONNECTION?

Larry Cheesman

Larry Cheesman has been serving as the Pastor for Music and Worship at First Baptist since 1999. Larry is originally from San Antonio, Texas. He has a Bachelor of Music Education Degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Master of Divinity Degree with a Church Music Concentration from the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. Larry is married and has two children.

Lonnie Holcombe

Lonnie Holcombe has been serving as Youth Director at First Baptist Church since June 2006. Lonnie was born and raised in Cuero, Texas. He is currently pursuing a Batchelor Degree in Religion at Wayland Baptist University in San Antonio. His focus is on creating environments that best creates changed lives and a growing knowledge of God's character revealed though His Word.
