Affiliations
FBC Cuero is affiliated with Texas Baptists (Baptist General Convention of Texas) and the Guadalupe Baptist Association for local, state, and international missions. Our church does direct funding, through designated giving and an annual Christmas Missions Offering, to various ministries around the world as our part of supporting the Great Commission. We are committed to giving our children a safe environment to learn and play. For this reason, all workers - staff and volunteers - are required to submit applications in order to work with children and youth. Included in these applications are: Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal History background checks, references, and interviews. We also partner with and require training through MinistrySafe, an organization founded by civil trial attorneys Gregory Love and Kimberlee Norris, who have more than 60 years of combined experience addressing child sexual abuse issues. MinistrySafe partners with some of the largest churches, universities, insurance companies, and sports associations in the United States.
